e-dzine designed and developed the Red Hot Promotions landing page to give it a professional, clean and simple look and feel. The web site consits of a single page which contains information about Red Hot Promotions and gives access to a contact form for users to complete. The page uses an Ajax image rotator to change the images on the site and gives a bit of movement on the page. The web site has been created using XHTML / CSS positioning helping to make the web site quick loading and optimised for search engines.

Sophies Bed and Breakfast Site goes live!

The Sophie's Bed and Breakfast Web Site has gone live and is now active for all to view.

After initial discussions, E-Dzine designed and created the Hampswaite Bed and Breakfast web site for our client. The site was designed using the bright vibrant colours of Sophie's Coffee Shop and Delicatessen.

E-Dzine was asked to photograph both of the rooms as well as parts of the coffee shop, building, garden views and the caribo windows that feature in the double room.

E-Dzine enjoyed working with the client to fine tune the design, photographs and information available on the site and looked forward to the wonderful Grumpy Mule coffee during our meetings.

e-dzine are part of Kastronix Limited which is a long established company working in the field of distribution.
e-dzine was formed 2 years ago to help in the development of the company’s websites and e-mail marketing. In 2011 e-dzine started to offer full web services to customers helping them improve their websites, providing marketing, website optimisation etc, and we are now looking to expand the team as the business continues to grow.
This is a new role, responsible to the Managing Director, to work alongside an existing web and marketing developer and the sales team.
The role will involve developing websites for clients, and promoting this service to new and existing clients. It will also involve generating business by proactively contacting potential customers and closing deals.

Required Skills

Good working knowledge of HTML / CSS / WC3
Good computer knowledge for both Windows PCs and Server environments
(Windows Server & Linux)
Ability to create lead generation and new business

Ideal Skills

PHP / ASP.net development skills
MSSQL / MySQL experience
Keen interest in new technologies and website functionality
(HTML5/SEO/PPC Management)

Work begins on new Bags web site for traders

E-Dzine has been commissioned to re-design and re-build a great web site for a trade only bags company based in London and Manchester. We have worked hard to capture this project and are pleased to hear that this will be an long term customer with plans for 3 websites in the interim.

We are starting with the main site first which will lay the groundwork for the next couple of sites that are planned. E-Dzine will be providing the hosting on this new site via our dedicated server platform.

We hope that our customer will continue to be amazed with the up-front, personal customer service that E-Dzine provides compared to the difficulties of 'Outsourcing' their web site work to Indian based companies.

Back from meetings in Jersey

It was a good trip to Jersey to meet with one of our big clients to take a look at their current systems and propose the development of their new website which will be built from scratch. After 9+ years of having a very active and popular web site built using some old ColdFusion development code, it is about time for a complete refresh of the sites look and feel as well as the development of functionality for the site.

365 took care of myself and James from JustPHP Limited whilst we were over in Jersey and we both agreed that it was worth while meeting the 365 team and discussing their sites requirements in detail.

E-Dzine is in the process of providing an analysis of the current web site as well as laying the groundwork for the processes of the project. This along with ongoing work at E-Dzine is sure to keep us busy for a while and we look forward to a long and prosperous working relationship with 365, OIS Jersey and JustPHP.

We will keep you posted as how the project progresses over the next few months.

9BAR web site goes live with a quick turnaround.

The 9BAR rock cover bands web site goes live with a vastly improved design, layout and added site functionality. The owners of the web site were keen to portray a professional image, which was lacking from their previous web site, to promote their band with Gig and Festival promoters.

The web site is controlled with an MS SQL database and has a CRM management area to enable the site owner to update information on the fly and helping to keep the website freshly up-to-date with information. Altogether the design, development and CRM management area was approved and all completed within 1 week. The web site went live once the transfer of the domain name (9BarRock.com) was completed. E-Dzine is hosting the web site, MS SQL database and email accounts on our dedicated server platform.

It was a busy day at the Yorkshire Business Market as we exhibited from stand 35 in the Derwent room and I trust that we were helpful with the advice and information that we gave.

Our stand was set up and ready to go by the morning breakfast call so we got in for our bacon butty and orange juice early. The day was busy which kept us on our feet and we had some positive feedback from the visitors that we talked to.

The prize draw was for a Travel kit containing a selection of travel products including a World Travel Adapter with dual USB charger, Go-Rock mini speaker, Swiss Mobile deluxe computer mouse, Green Smart Neogreene Laptop Sleeve to a retail value of £100.00.
